Birth Photography is so obtainable and I am so thrilled to be along for the ride. You as a laboring momma will never be the same after showing up to the delivery space. Having a baby is a monumental shift in the trajectory of your life. I am a believer in documenting these shifts. Think about it; First Birthday, Graduation, Engagement, Wedding,... BIRTH! "Ill have my partner snap a few"
I think these are beautiful moments and if your husband is willing and able, SNAP AWAY! However I am a firm believer that your support team should be spending the majority of the time supporting you!.. and I think your support team should be documented as well. A few photos are beautiful, a story told well can be moments preserved for story telling through generations.
"Do you take picture of the gross stuff"
In our pre-natal conversations we'll talk about your ideal shots. We will talk about things you'd prefer to see and things you would not be okay with seeing. As a professional I can get creative with the angles to ensure the photos delivered are tastefully edited and presented. I don't believe the word "gross" is a top descriptor for this event as so many miraculous moments led up to these very seconds. It may be messy, but it is beautiful.

I believe in the power of photos. I believe that photos have the potential to result in healing. I also think we are getting back to basics and it's because we are seeing a glimpse of what goes on behind closed doors; that we are then asking questions for our own birth experience. Birth changes your life. It's worth preserving your strength. A professional Birth Photographer will know and understand the rhythms of a laboring momma. This is where the level of experience can make or break the end result.
On Call Birth Packages
Will include my on call time, a professional back up, pre natal meeting, and the option to add maternity or fresh 48 sessions at a discounted rate. On call is really idea for those totally sold on the idea of Birth Photography are are committed to the investment. I will ensure your birth is covered at all costs. On Call on my end requires the back up to my back up childcare providers. It entails my husband making shifts necessary to ensure his shop responsibilities are covered. On call schedule is just a little less flexible which results in the higher initial investment.
Off Call Birth Packages
Will include a the birth coverage with the small but present chance I may miss the attendance of the actual birth. BUT WAIT hear me out.... This investment is much lower and is so perfect for those families that aren't totally sold out on the idea of Birth Photography or they're willing to play a little game of chance. Your retainer fee will be applied toward a fresh 48 or any other session of your choice. My hope and goal with this new aspect of Birth Photography is to make it more accessible. I love Birth Photography and believe everyone should get the opportunity to have these seconds preserved!
